[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Based in Charleroi since 1971 and acquired by the Italian Riva Group in 1989, the Thy-Marcinelle plant<\/strong>, today, has almost 445 employees and produces approximately 800,000 tonnes of steel per year. Electric and Continuous Casting Production<\/span><\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1593091320619{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]Specialised in the electricity sector<\/strong>, our plant produces what we call \u201crecycled\u201d or \u201csecondary\u201d steel<\/strong>, i.e. steel manufactured from recovered steel. We also use the continuous casting<\/strong> method, which allows for a more efficient production process<\/strong> (30% more efficient).
