The recycling of steel is a major source of energy savings<\/strong>. According to the BIR (The Bureau of International Recycling), the use of scrap enables a 74% reduction in energy consumption. We thus reduce our carbon footprint, cutting our CO2<\/sub> emissions<\/strong> by 58%.<\/p>\n

Reusing Different Metals on a Daily Basis<\/span><\/h2>\n

When they reach the end of their lifespan, we recover them, melt them down and repurpose them, so as to give them a second life<\/strong>. We ensure that our steel scrap comes from Belgium and neighbouring countries because respecting the environment<\/strong> is something we truly care about. The scrap is transported by lorry and by boat. We aim to use boat transport, where possible, since this solution is much better for the environment.
